The real star of the 2010 World Cup was him, Paul the octopus.
From the depths of his aquarium in Oberhausen, Germany, he shot to worldwide fame in July 2010, finishing the competition with a full stomach, arm high in victory.
Because, it's a fact, octopuses have very large brains and… eight arms.
"The day people understand it and stop talking about its tentacles, I would have won it, my World Cup", laughs again, not without humor, at the National Museum of Natural History Laure Bonnaud-Ponticelli, specialist cephalopods.
