Friends and family of Tobias Dreiseitel from Eichenried have been worried since Friday evening.

The 25-year-old disappeared at the Brass Wiesn Festival and has not appeared since.

Already on Saturday the police started with extensive search measures.

The missing person's mobile phone had been unavailable since around 10:30 p.m. on the day he disappeared and has been switched off or without a power supply to this day.

According to the police report, it was last logged into the festival area, according to the police evaluation of the network operator.

The officials also checked a possible automated location history of the mobile phone via cloud storage, but without further knowledge.

The Neufahrn Police Inspectorate is continuing its search measures and is once again being supported by the police helicopter squadron and forces from the central supplementary services in Erding and the surrounding departments.

The relatives are currently being cared for by a crisis intervention team.

Eleven forces from the IHV eV search dog squadron tried to find a trace of the young man on Sunday evening and on Monday night with seven dogs.

They met relatives of the missing Tobias near the festival site.

"And an odor object was handed over," reports Jenny Füchsel, squad leader of the Freising section.

The dogs picked up the smell and marched north along Heidestrasse, into the town.

The team was here for four and a half hours.

Then the track was lost and the dogs were tired too.

"The young man had been missing for more than 40 hours at that time," says Füchsel.

It is very difficult for the animals to pick up a scent that is more than 24 hours after they have disappeared, "if not almost impossible, you actually have no chance".

Especially since the circumstances on Friday evening, at the time of the disappearance, were very complex: many visitors, rain, damp ground.

An intensive search for the missing person is still being carried out via Facebook.

Apparently he was "heavily drunk" and injured and was last seen around 11 p.m. at the entrance to the campsite when the site was cleared on Friday evening due to the storm.

Echinger are now asked to search garages and barns.

Other festival-goers should check their smartphones and cameras for photos of the missing person.

- 25-year-old Tobias Dreiseitel from Eichenried wanted to celebrate with two friends at the Brass Wiesn.

According to the police, he has been missing since Friday evening.

Around 9 p.m., the friends lost sight of each other.

Thousands made their way home.

From then on there was no trace of the 25-year-old, on Saturday the friends reported him to the police as missing.

Extensive search measures with the support of a helicopter, the water rescue service, the fire brigade and the rescue dog squadron were unsuccessful until the early hours of Saturday morning.

The missing person was wearing a burgundy Hawaiian shirt and brown leather pants at the time of his disappearance.

He is approximately 1.75m tall and slim, has brown/green eyes, short dark brown hair with a side parting, and was last seen wearing an S-Oliver necklace.
