Toyota Motor Corporation, the Japanese car manufacturer, announced today that it will suspend the second approved work shift per day at one of its production lines in central Japan due to the outbreak of Covid 19.
And Reuters quoted the company as saying in a statement: “16 workers at the Tsutsumi city plant in the central Aichi Prefecture have been infected with the virus, while the suspension will also affect the production of 660 vehicles.”
According to the latest statistics of the World Meters website, the total number of infections with the Corona virus in Japan reached 14 million and 421,539, while the total deaths amounted to 33,825 cases.
