The representative of the regional administration in the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Rogov, announced the beginning of the application of Russian laws in the district, noting that the course of reunification of the region with Russia had been drawn up.
"The local police are guided by the Russian criminal and administrative laws," Rogov said, adding that "the lands of Zaporozhye have left Ukraine forever and there will be no going back. Therefore, we advise the Kyiv regime to get used to this now and begin to understand and define the borders of the Zaporozhye region with Russia exclusively." Rogov stressed that "the population in the liberated lands want to return to Russia, and therefore the Kyiv authorities threaten them to bomb civilian infrastructure."
In a related context, a military source announced the arrest of those involved in the deployment of internationally banned mines targeting civilians in the Kherson region. People who deployed points to direct Ukrainian artillery shelling on civilian targets were also arrested.
The source added that a female citizen from the civilian population resorted to the Russian army after she was able to identify those involved in these acts, where they were arrested and investigations began in the case.
