A 40-year-old teacher from a kibbutz in the north was arrested last night (Tuesday) on suspicion of sexual offenses against her student.

The teacher, mother of the children, was interrogated during the night and today the investigators are expected to bring her before a judge at the Magistrate's Court in Kiryat where it appears that they will request the extension of her detention.

The mother of the student, who suffers from mental problems and attends a special school in the Kiryat area, is the one who exposed the affair, after discovering at the beginning of the summer that her 14-year-old daughter was having an intimate relationship with her teacher, after finding romantic and sexual correspondence on the daughter's phone, which included a suspected nude photo The teacher sent her, and detailed descriptions of the relationship between them.

The mother contacted the school, informed the management, and the school immediately removed the teacher and the management filed a police complaint.

However, at the Zebulon station, which summoned the teacher for questioning, they chose to release the teacher after she gave her own version of the story.

The teacher told investigators that the dominant girl was the one who fell in love with her, initiated the relationship and constantly pressured her to strengthen it.

The removal of the teacher from the girl did create a crisis for the girl.

According to the mother, since the discovery, the daughter has even been hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital, but she is surprised at the lightness with which the authorities treated the matter, which she believes chose to sweep it under the rug and return to routine.

"I am amazed and pained, how is it possible for this teacher to walk between the legs of children again, whether they are her children or whether it is one of our children," she said.
