Within the framework of completing the preparations for the participation of Syrian children in the camp (Zubrunak Health and Recreational) in the Republic of Belarus, the Syrian delegation, which includes 80 orphans and children of martyrs and wounded, in addition to 8 supervisors from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, left for the Republic of Belarus.

The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Muhammad Seif El-Din said in a statement to reporters that the aim of establishing these camps is to achieve the greatest benefit and integration for children who have been harmed as a result of the terrorist war that Syria faced, in a way that enables them to overcome its effects and achieve the greatest benefit for them at the cultural and cognitive levels, noting that the training was trained About 1,000 children have been in these camps from 2017 to this year.

In turn, the Chargé d'Affairs of the Belarusian Embassy in Damascus, Anatoly Biogranov, explained that the program has proven to be highly successful, according to the feedback from the children participating in it, pointing out that it is an opportunity for children to exchange their cultural experiences and learn new cultures, which helps to strengthen and develop strong friendship relations between the two countries.

For her part, the supervisor of the schools of the sons of the martyrs, Basima Idris, indicated that the target age groups of the program are from 11 to 15 years old, indicating that the activities that will be included in the camp are choir and folk arts, pointing out that the schools provide all the services that students need in addition to strengthening them and developing their skills. And their expertise and care in all areas.

A number of departing children pointed out the importance of the camp in terms of learning about the customs, traditions and heritage of the Belarusian people. Razan Al-Aji and Yousha Ahmed explained that the visits are of great importance in introducing the civilization and culture of Syrian society and developing new friendships with Belarusian children.
