Air conditioning on and open doors: in Paris, the first traders fined

“You will be fined.

In the future, close your door or turn off your air conditioning.

Otherwise, at each passage, you will be verbalized.

Since July 25, Parisian traders must close their doors when the air conditioning is on, under the decree signed on July 22 by the mayor of Paris, in the face of the climate emergency and the energy crisis .

Only bars and restaurants with a terrace are exempt from this rule.
