Dr. Faisal Al Miqdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, made a phone call to Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman this morning.
During the call, Minister Miqdad expressed the importance Syria attaches to the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and welcomed the progress that has been made in this path in various fields.
The talk also dealt with the situation on the Arab arena and the latest developments.
For his part, Minister Al Busaidi affirmed the Sultanate's constant endeavor to find harmony and understanding among all Arab countries, and the Sultanate of Oman's support for Syria's role and position, the importance of its stability and territorial integrity, and to get rid of any foreign interference.
The two ministers agreed to continue communication and make joint efforts in order to face current and future challenges for the good of Arab issues and the progress of Arab countries in various political, economic and cultural fields.
