The Syrian Investment Authority granted an investment license for a project for the manufacture of drawing galvanized metal wires, nets, welding rods and metal nails in the industrial city of Adra in Damascus countryside at an estimated cost of 19 billion Syrian pounds. The project is expected to provide 60 job opportunities.
In a statement to SANA’s delegate, Director of the Authority, Madin Diab, pointed out the importance of the project, which comes in light of the increasing need for one of the construction industries associated with many sectors in terms of qualitative contribution to the development of the industrial sector and reducing the import of similar products in the reconstruction phase with the possibility of exporting with the latest international standards.
Thus, the number of investment licenses granted by the authority according to the new investment law reached 38 licenses at an estimated cost of 1471 billion pounds, and it is expected to achieve 3,626 new job opportunities.
