Three vehicles and a passenger bus on fire have been the result of a confrontation between elements of the Army and criminals in Zapopan, Jalisco.
A command has blocked the highway to Saltillo, Coahuila, in the direction of Ixtlahuacán del Río and Cuquío;
and has caused another checkpoint at the Las Cañadas exit.
The governor, Enrique Alfaro, has confirmed the crash through his social networks and that there are no victims or injuries.
"As a result of a confrontation in the vicinity of Ixtlahuacán del Río and Cuquío between the Army and criminals, they set fire to vehicles on the highway to Saltillo, at the entrance to the city to try to prevent the passage of corporations," said the politician. .
"We are working on the issue in coordination between the three levels of government," he added and promised more information shortly.
