Border Patrol agents detained a group of 88 migrants, 81 of them children and 71 unaccompanied, in Arizona, authorities announced on Twitter.
"Smugglers continue to cross large groups of children along the southwest border," said Tucson Border Patrol Chief John R. Modlin.
The migrants are, for the most part, of Guatemalan origin.
They were detained near the town of Sasabe.
Tucson is one of the largest borders at 23.5 miles long.
