Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida made a cabinet reshuffle today.
Reuters reported that Kishida, who took office last October, announced his new government team in a faster reshuffle than analysts had expected.
While key figures such as Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi and Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki have retained their posts, some prominent ministers have been sacked, including Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi, younger brother of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who was shot dead last July, and was replaced by Yasukazu Hamada.
