Due to the high level of immissions from the federal road B304 running to the south, the noise protection wall is being expanded.

Despite the existing wall, a noise protection report had attested that the prescribed guideline values ​​were exceeded.

This is mainly due to the fact that the shielding ends in the southwest and has no connection to the noise protection wall in the neighboring property to the west, according to the town hall of Vaterstetten.

The vacant lot is now to be closed by extending the wall.

This can reduce noise pollution.

Nevertheless, it remains borderline, according to the responsible clerk in the building authority.

For this reason, the wall facing the street should also be designed to be highly absorbent.

In addition, the children's home is placed as far away as possible from the property line and from traffic noise.

There will also be no sleeping or resting rooms in the south-west of the building.

Action garden and the forest garden play area will be protected by the house itself in the northern part of the area.

This arrangement of the outdoor play areas also enables the largest possible forest area to be preserved, which at the same time acts as a spatial buffer between the B304 and the children's home.

The forest is separated from the outside area of ​​the kindergarten by a fence.

In this noisy area, it is not possible for the children to stay permanently, it should only be used for educational forest excursions.

With the children's home moving away from the property line, nature conservation, species protection and traffic noise are taken into account.

Another innovation: the northern part, which Maria Linden wants to use to expand her own business, is no longer treated as a special area but as a general residential area.

The facility is planning employee and inclusion apartments here, the head of the building authority, Brigitte Littke, informed the municipal councils in the most recent building committee.

The Maria Linden House is an institution of the Catholic Youth Social Work Munich eV for older people with a chronic psychological and/or intellectual disability.
