A deadly night on the roads of Jerusalem: yesterday (Tuesday) around midnight a bus driver lost control and crashed into a guardrail near a construction site on Jeremiah Street in Jerusalem.
As a result, a 70-year-old pedestrian was killed. The bus driver, in his 40s, was seriously injured.
There is also another injured in a minor condition.
The Israel Police is investigating the circumstances of the accident.

Israel Weingarten, a paramedic at MDA, said: "This is a serious accident, we saw a bus empty of passengers crushed in its front part after it collided with the entrance to a building at a construction site.
A pedestrian about 70 years old who was walking on the sidewalk was hit by the bus, he was lying on the sidewalk unconscious, with multiple systemic injuries, we gave him medical treatment and performed CPR, in the end we had to pronounce him dead.
The bus driver was trapped in the driver's seat while he was unconscious with injuries to his stomach and limbs, while extricating him from the bus we gave him life-saving medical treatment and after the firefighters finished the rescue we evacuated him to the hospital as he is in serious condition."
In another traffic accident during the night, between a truck and two vehicles, building a police car, on Highway 50 near the Ben Zion interchange in the direction of Atarot - a 40-year-old man was killed, and four injured were taken to Shaare Zedek and Hadassah hospitals in Mount Scopus, among them: a 30-year-old man in serious condition, With multiple systemic injuries, a 17-year-old boy in moderate condition, with a head injury, a 19-year-old man in moderate condition, with an abdominal injury in consciousness, a 29-year-old man (the truck driver) in a minor condition.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
