The head of the Democratic Unionist Party in Egypt, Hassan Turk, confirmed that the repeated attacks by the Turkish occupation forces on Syrian territory are a flagrant violation of international conventions.
In a statement to a SANA reporter in Cairo, the party leader said: What the Turkish regime, led by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is doing is part of foreign plans to increase tension in the region to serve its Ottoman dreams and the interests of the Zionist entity.
He denounced leaving the silence of the international community and the Security Council, stressing that this silence encourages Erdogan's regime to repeat such attacks, calling for the implementation of the United Nations Charter and the imposition of deterrent sanctions on it.
Turk called for lifting the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, pointing out that the Syrian people have suffered a lot and are still suffering because of them.
