Trump's reaction to the search of his private property in Florida was not long in coming.
He published a video on his own social media platform "Truth Social" that looks like an election campaign video.
“We are the nation with the highest inflation in 40 years. The stock market has finished the worst it has been in five decades.”
Trump obviously wants to show: I'll be back.
And his party colleagues are also attacking the Democrats directly.

“The Republicans reacted extremely aggressively to this search. Mike Pence, the former Vice President, said: It's a very worrying development. It was still one of the more moderate voices. Ron Sanchez, the governor of Florida, said we would see it become a banana republic like America. And it is a very dangerous development, because Democrats and Republicans no longer have a common understanding that the judiciary should work independently. Republicans are in the process of declaring Merrick Garland, the Attorney General and the FBI instruments of a leftist America party.”
Trump's supporters continue to stick with him, according to the motto: Now more than ever.
Some also turned up outside the ex-president's Palm Beach, Florida mansion on the second day after the raid.
"What the FBI did is unacceptable."
The authority had unannounced searched Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence on Monday.
The reasons were kept silent, but Trump is said to have taken home documents classified as secret from his tenure – that would be a criminal offence.
Above all politically, the situation is extremely explosive for Trump.

'The search here has upset Washington and all of political America. Donald Trump is the clear Republican favorite for the 2024 presidential nomination. He hasn't announced it yet, but all signs are that he intends to do so again. And, of course, it is a major political issue for someone with ambitions to be President again to come under the scrutiny of a Justice Department that is under Democratic leadership.”
In any case, it is a through ball for Trump, who continues to present himself as the victim of large-scale electoral fraud.
It remains to be seen when Trump will officially enter the race for the 2024 presidency.
