As for foreign domestic helpers who have completed at least three nights of quarantine at designated quarantine hotels before this Friday (i.e. those who arrived in Hong Kong between August 3 and 8), the government will arrange for them to stay in Hong Kong after confirming their negative nucleic acid test results. A spokesman for the Labour Department said that the day of the first nucleic acid test on arrival of foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong is regarded as the zeroth day, and they must stay in a designated quarantine hotel for three nights to undergo compulsory quarantine. Compulsory quarantine can be completed on the morning of the third day.

Afterwards, the foreign domestic helper must undergo four nights of medical surveillance at the employer's home, and the fast side must be performed every day. On the fourth and sixth days of arrival in Hong Kong, after obtaining the same day's negative fast side results, he or she will go to the community testing center, mobile sampling station or at his own expense on the same day.
