One of the most difficult phenomena in the aviation world in recent times is the loss of luggage, in which many passengers do not receive their luggage on time, if at all.
The phenomenon led to a search for solutions, and one original solution is the Air Tag, a kind of chip that you put in your suitcase that can tell at any given moment where it, that is, your suitcase, is.
With the beginning of the chaos in the aviation industry in everything related to baggage, Air Tag prices were less than NIS 100 per unit.
You could easily get a unit even for NIS 90, and almost every electronics store sold them.
Today the picture is different: it is very difficult to obtain the desired Air Tag, which has led to a sad phenomenon - a black market at very high prices.

In a short stroll through the various websites that offer second-hand products, you can see a black market that has developed around the product.
Sellers offer it for 200 and 300 shekels, sometimes more than three times the original price of the product, until about two months ago.
In a conversation with online sellers, they claim: "We bought it at a high price and therefore we are selling it at a high price."
There are those who sell the product at prices ranging around NIS 170-160, a price that is also significantly higher than the price at which the product was sold until recently.
Several electronics stores we contacted said that the product was out of stock - and explained: "Even when the product is in stock, it gets snapped up very quickly, it's hard to get it."
The high demand alongside the shortage has created a black market, which forces Israelis to pay a lot of money for a simple product that is basically sold at a convenient and cheap price.
