In a statement to SANA, Dr. Al-Tarabishi indicated that the number of people who received the vaccine against the Corona virus completely is 1,678,762 people, while the number of those who received the first dose was 2405840, and the number of people who received the booster dose reached 46,118 people.
Dr. Al-Tarabishi stressed the importance of obtaining the vaccine for its role in reducing the severity of infection with the virus if it occurs and achieving community immunity, noting that the people who took the vaccine were infected without symptoms or with very simple symptoms, embodied in high temperature, pain in the pharynx, general weakness and muscle pain and does not require admission to the hospital to receive care. medical.
Dr. Al-Tarabishi stressed the need to take the vaccine because it is safe and effective of all kinds, in addition to adhering to the measures to prevent wearing a mask and spatial distancing.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health has allocated more than 967 centers and hospitals in addition to 200 mobile teams in villages and areas where there are no health centers in the governorates to give the vaccine against the Corona virus.
