The "2021 Employee Training and Development Needs Survey" conducted by the Institute of Human Resource Management from March to May this year covers 116 organizations from different industries and involves 74,400 full-time employees.

The survey results show that in the business sector, the average ratio of the actual expenditure on training and development to the overall basic salary of employees last year was 1.9%, a slight increase from 1.3% in the previous year. The Institute believes that the proportion of training expenses to salary in these two industries is significantly lower than that of other industries.
