The Mexican Martha "Pati" Ruiz Corzo was a violinist, accordionist and music teacher and one day she decided to leave the complicated life she led in Querétaro and find something simpler.
It was then that she found her mission.
She moved to the Sierra Gorda, she lived for years without electricity and became a defender of the environment to the point that she managed to have some 385,000 hectares considered by the Mexican government as a biosphere reserve.
