The Palestinian Ministry of Education described the Israeli occupation authorities' announcement today of the demolition and destruction of Ein Samiya Primary School in Ramallah as a heinous crime that is added to the series of continuous crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian educational sector.
The Palestinian Wafa Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the occupation’s attacks and crimes against educational institutions constitute a flagrant violation of the right of students and guarantee their right to a safe and free education, calling on all international legal, human rights and media institutions and organizations to assume their responsibilities towards the escalating violations of the occupation and work to curb these aggressive practices, expose them and provoke them in International forums and protection for Palestinian students.
It is noteworthy that the Ain Samiya Primary School was built by the Palestinians early this year from the first to sixth grades and serves the surrounding Palestinian Bedouin communities.
