Is Rammstein playing a mega concert on New Year's Eve at Munich's Theresienwiese?
The city council has now given the green light.
Munich – It had been argued for a long time, opinions differed widely.
On New Year's Eve, the Rammstein band is scheduled to hold a big concert on Munich's Theresienwiese.
Now the city council in Munich has basically allowed the concert.
Now the ball is in the hands of the organizer, who has to present a safety concept.

City council approves plans
The city council faction of the FDP/Bavarian party tweeted after the decision: "Do first, second concern: We are pleased that the majority of the Munich city council has spoken out in favor of a Rammstein concert on New Year's Eve at the Wiesn." However, the district administration department must also agree.
