Bad Tölz – bookworms, watch out: The eleventh round of the summer holiday reading club is currently taking place in the Tölz city library.
Children and young people can take part in the popular campaign until September 17th.
Best of all: reading a lot will be rewarded.
Because the participants can win attractive prizes.
Summer Vacation Reading Club: “Read a lot and get a prize for it”
"The principle is simple," explains Melanie Sappl, head of the city library, "read a lot of books and get a prize for them." In order to take part in the browsing campaign, the young bookworms have to register in the city library beforehand.
“The library card is free during the summer holiday reading club,” explains Sappl.
"It then applies to the entire reading club period."

With at least three stamps you take part in the raffle
When registering, the children are given a booklet in which every book they have read and every CD or soundtrack they have heard is entered.
Participants will receive a stamp for each book in the library.
In order to take part in the raffle, you need at least three stamps.
"It also counts to write a poem," says Sappl.
Books read online can also be rated.
However, comics are not allowed.
Raffle on September 28th
"You wouldn't believe what a stamp can do to motivate the children," says the head of the library.
According to her, “The Three Question Marks” is very popular with young bookworms.
If you have at least three stamps in your reading club booklet by September 17th, you can take part in the raffle.
This will take place on September 28 at 3 p.m.
