The General Company for the Establishment of Railways in Aleppo Governorate started the work of repairing and rehabilitating the railway line extending from Jibrin station to Tal Balat station and reaching the Radwaniyah power station after sabotage and terrorism extended to it.
The general manager of the company, Eng. Mohamed Ismail Al-Omar, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the repair work includes rehabilitating the railway that connects to the Radwaniyah power plant in Aleppo with a total length of 18 km, explaining that these works come to secure the station’s needs by transporting the fuel needed for its work, as the trains will transport Large volumes, which contribute to the continuity of service provision and reduce transportation costs for electricity production.
Al-Omar indicated that the railway track was inspected and its needs for maintenance work were determined to be carried out according to the degree of damage to each sector, noting that there are sectors that need a complete extension of the railway as a result of theft by terrorist groups, and waiting for the completion of the other authorities for the maintenance of the lower section of the railway and the damaged house bridge Above the main traction channel east of Jibreen station, expressing the company's readiness to implement the required works within the time periods before the end of this year.
