A young woman in her 20s stayed at the home of civilians while pretending to be a lone soldier and a rehabilitated criminal. This is how she stole credit cards and money from them.


A young woman in her 20s is suspected of a large number of thefts of credit cards, checks, wallets and fraudulent offenses:

following the contact of the "Max" credit company, an undercover police investigation into the fraud division was opened and evidence was collected linking the young woman to the acts. 

The investigation reveals that the young accused moved to live in the last year in the home of a couple who work to rehabilitate young criminals.

There, for a year, she stole credit cards and checks belonging to the landlady from them.

After that, the accused rented an apartment, pretending to be the owner of the checks and used them to pay the rent.

And if that wasn't enough, after seeing the suspicious publication about a family in the south of the country that hosts lone soldiers on Saturdays and holidays, the accused pretended to be a lone soldier and stayed at their home.

According to the suspicion, the young woman also stole credit cards from there.

In another case, after allegedly stealing a wallet containing credit cards, the accused went on a shopping spree at businesses in Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, during the shopping spree she also tried to steal goods in two stores and when she was caught by the employees, she paid for the items using the stolen credit cards.

Following these cases, the "Max" credit company reported the actions of the accused to the fraud party in the Jerusalem district and an investigation was opened.

After an undercover investigation conducted as mentioned above, the detectives of the Jerusalem Police Department arrested the accused in a commercial center in Be'er Sheva and searched for a device to neutralize and remove buzzers designed to prevent theft from businesses. In a search of her residence, many credit cards, "Rav-Ko" cards, various documents that did not belong To her, a large number of new items of clothing and receipts for payment indicating that the suspect stayed more than once in hotels in the city of Jerusalem at the expense of her victims.

As mentioned, these days the investigators of the fraud division have completed the investigation operations while collecting cases from different places in the country, last Monday an indictment was filed against her by the Jerusalem branch of prosecutions along with a request for her arrest until the end of the proceedings.
