Six people were injured when a microbus deteriorated on the Homs-Damascus road in the town of Qara.
The Ministry of Interior stated, in a statement that SANA received a copy of, that a microbus vehicle deteriorated on the Homs-Damascus road, about 2 km before the princes’ rest in Qara town, as a result of excessive speed and lack of attention by the driver, which led to the injury of 6 people.
The ministry pointed out that the patrols of the Public Roads Police Station in Al-Nabek came to the scene, and the injured were immediately treated to Al-Basel Hospital in Deir Atiyah, removing the effects of the accident and organizing the necessary control.
The Ministry added: The Traffic Department calls on drivers to check the vehicle’s readiness and conduct a periodic technical inspection of it before driving, to exercise caution and caution while driving, to abide by the signs and speed limits on the roads, not to cross the traffic light, not to use a mobile phone while driving, and to cross the road from places designated for pedestrians, in order to ensure for their own safety and the safety of road users.
