The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces has ended the retention and recall of reserve officers (physicians, dentists and pharmacists), with the exception of doctors specializing in anesthesia, intensive care and emergency, as of the beginning of next month.
The General Command stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of that, according to Administrative Order No. (16492/1) dated 8-10-2022 AD issued by the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces, the following is implemented:
Retention and summoning of reserve officers (physicians, dentists, and pharmacists) shall be terminated, with the exception of physicians who specialize in anesthesiology, intensive care and emergency, as of 9-1-2022 AD.
The officers (physicians, dentists, and pharmacists) who joined the compulsory service are dismissed from the date of the end of their compulsory service, with the exception of doctors specializing in anesthesiology, intensive care and emergency, and the procedures followed are duly taken in this regard.
The service of medical officers who specialize in anesthesiology, intensive care and emergency is terminated upon the end of their mandatory or reserve service, according to the possibility of dispensing with their services by the Medical Services Department.
