Adel Al-Jaramani, head of the branch council of the Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers in Sweida, revealed that financial returns of 252 million pounds have been achieved from the apple project of the Agricultural Engineers Retirement Treasury, which is located on an area of 150 dunums in the Dahr El-Jabal area.
Al-Jaramani said in a statement to SANA reporter that the proceeds were achieved after entrusting the project, whose production is estimated at about 160 tons for the current season, to an investor based on a public auction that was announced and submitted to it by a number of investors.
He pointed out that the apple project is one of the most important investment projects for the Syndicate in Syria, and its revenues support the agricultural engineers' retirement treasury, and it is also used as an extension field for farmers.
