Ankara-Sana
The Turkish Defense Ministry announced today the death of one of its soldiers in clashes in northern Iraq.
And the Anatolia News Agency, speaking for the Turkish regime, quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: “One of its soldiers was killed during a clash with (PKK) militants in northern Iraq,” without giving further details.
The Ministry of the Interior of the Turkish regime announced last July that five soldiers were killed in clashes with militants in northern Iraq.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry recently confirmed that the Turkish regime's military operations in Iraq are hostile and provocative, and constitute a blatant violation of Iraq's sovereignty and a threat to its territorial integrity, denying the existence of any coordination with it in this field.
