A dermatologist doctor was arrested in California after her husband recorded her allegedly poisoning him with Drano, a chemical to clean clogged pipes, according to local officials and a restraining order.
Yue Yu, 45, was arrested Thursday and booked into the Orange County Jail, the Irvine Police Department said in a news release.
She was released Friday after posting $30,000 bond.
Her husband, Jack Chen, a 53-year-old radiology doctor who had been married to Yu for 10 years, called Irvine authorities Thursday because he suspected his wife was poisoning him.

In an attempt to catch his wife in the act, Chen "placed cameras in the house to surreptitiously record evidence and shared the footage with police," Lt. Bill Bingham said.
Police arrived at the couple's home the same day with a search warrant, interviewed Yu, and then arrested her.
The woman, against whom she does not weigh an indictment, "vehemently and unequivocally denies that he tried to poison her husband or anyone else," said her attorney, David E. Wohl.

Her attorney says he filed for a restraining order against Yu on Friday.

Chen said in the restraining order filing that he caught Yu on video three times putting the drain cleaner into his lemon tea.
On July 18, Chen allegedly covered his tea cup with plastic wrap.
After she left, Yu took the drain cleaner from the kitchen sink, removed the cellophane cover, poured the liquid into the cup and then covered it with the plastic again, according to the file.
Chen said he started noticing a "chemical taste" in his tea in March and April.
She went to a doctor who diagnosed her with two stomach ulcers, gastritis and inflammation of the esophagus.
Health problems led him to suspect his partner and to install the cameras.

Yu's lawyer said she is "a highly respected doctor." "Her goal has always been to help people and never harm anyone," she added, "She strongly denies her husband's claims of abusing him and their children." emotionally and physically."
“We are very concerned that these false accusations have been made by her husband in an attempt to gain an advantage in his divorce and custody case filed against her,” Wohl said.
