This morning, a light training helicopter crashed in Fars Province, southern Iran, injuring its pilot and co-pilot.
And the Iranian Fars news agency quoted the director of emergency in the city of Marvdasht as saying today that "the training helicopter that took off from the city of Zarqan on a training mission towards Drodzin crashed over a mountainous area," likely to be a technical failure that was the cause of the accident.
He pointed out that the helicopter pilot and his assistant were taken to a hospital in the Marvdasht area for treatment.
