The Charmi family emigrates to Mallorca accompanied by "Goodbye Germany".

Mani Charmi would like to start there as a pop singer, but his wife was worried from the start.

And this fear that her husband could be taken over too much by Ballermann seems justified.

Mani Charmi (39) has released two party hits so far.

Now it tickles the family man's fingers: He wants to make it big at Ballermann.

So Mani emigrated to Mallorca with his wife Fabienne (31) and their four daughters.

But Fabienne is worried from the start: "To be honest, I'm afraid that it will get the upper hand that he has two days of performances every weekend and goes partying".

Because even while Fabienne was pregnant with their first daughter together, Mani was always going to parties until 7 a.m.

He couldn't quite identify with the idea of becoming a father.

He would rather enjoy his freedom a little longer - but that put his marriage at risk.

"I'm also a stage pig somewhere and I love to party," admits the "Goodbye Germany" emigrant.

Too much partying and alcohol: Mani Charmi is in danger of losing his family

Fabienne's fears are said to be confirmed: her husband goes to the Ballermann party more and more often and regularly looks deep into the glass.

Even when their daughter has a fever, Mani doesn't come home until sunrise and is still proud that it didn't get any later.

Fabienne is already ready to draw a line: she is already looking for flights back to Germany.

At the last moment, Mani finally realizes that he has a responsibility to his family.

He takes some time off from Ballermann and even gets help from an addiction counselor.

"I was about to lose my family because of drinking," says the "Goodbye Germany" emigrant.

He just managed to save his marriage.
