The re-casting for the role of the criminal ("I understand that they won't take me to be Billy Elliot"), the success at a late age ("I say to myself 'Oh God, I'm getting paid for this'") and the moment when he broke down in tears: just before a new play "The Chabadniks" " and a children's series at yes, Yaniv Svisa speaks in the podcast "What's going on?"

"I remember that when I was released from the army, I worked as a porter at the ladies' company. We were working on the stage and I saw a poof like this on the floor. I was sitting there, on the stage, looking at the lights and saying 'When will my day come?'. 15 years later, during the play "The show must end" In the background, I see a pouf on the floor. I look at it and boom - I had a flashback and started crying. I said to myself, 'Here, I'm where I wanted to be.'"

You probably know him from "Kupah Rashit", but apart from the tremendous situation comedy Kan 11 in which he stars, he has a fairly rich resume, to which another play is added these days - "Chabadnikim" which will soon be shown at the Chamber Theater and the children's series "Hakal Tov" ( Hop channel, yes and Sting TV).In an interview with Nir Yahav in "What do we hear?", the podcast of Walla! Culture in collaboration with the Lottery, he recalls the difficult beginning and the long journey he took, talks about his close friends in "Kopa Rashtih", reveals his love to the music - and also talks about the one-time experience alongside Noa Kirel.

On the new play "Chabadnikim" by the Chamber Theater

: "Every new project, especially when it comes to plays, is terribly exciting.

You never know how the audience will react - they will like it, they will not like it.

I think it's great written, well directed and acted, but I'm not objective.

The excitement is great and we don't stop laughing in rehearsals."

On theater vs. television

: "The inclination towards theater is very great.

When you sit in front of an audience, and receive the initial feedback, it gives a lot.

This thing cannot be explained.

Television is also very exciting, but does not have the energy of the audience.

There is action, cut and genius directors, but it's two different worlds, it's like football and basketball.

But how many people do you know who get up in the morning and go to work on their dream job?

Sometimes I say to myself, Oh God, I get paid for it.

It's great fun."

About the beginning of his career as an actor

: "I worked every possible job along the way - telephone technician, security guard, night watchman, cook and even managed a writer. When I worked in the kitchen I would work every day from 7 in the morning and there were days I would finish at midnight. All to fulfill my dream and not give up. Then I came to the world of theater and already For several years I've been making a living only from theater and television. I'm living the dream."

"Rarely do you fall on a cast like this."

On the permanent casting for the role of the criminal

: "It doesn't bother me, I understand that I won't be cast to be Billy Elliot. It's not something that bothers me, they are aware of my ability in the theater. As long as there's work, I'm satisfied."

On the difficulty of being an actor in Israel

: "It's very difficult. There are a lot of actors and very little work. Some actors are not rewarded because they want to be in the system. I remember a few years ago we had three morning shows and one of the actors said, 'What a shame, we have three shows today. I grabbed him by the shirt and told him, 'Shame on you, you have friends from class who are waiters, you should enjoy every moment. I told him that he would never say those things and enjoy the moment.'

And what does he reveal about the behind-the-scenes of the "main cash register"?

And why doesn't he usually watch TV?
