Assets worth over 160 million euros were confiscated by the Guardia di Finanza and the Carabinieri of Reggio Calabria and by staff of Dia and Scico, with the coordination of the Reggio Calabria DDA to Carmelo Ficara, a building contractor from Reggio Calabria.
The provision was issued by the Prevention Measures Section of the Court of Reggio.
According to what emerged from the investigations, from the mid-1980s to 2017, Ficara would have initiated and consolidated the role of building contractor in the territory, relying on the support of local historians first that of the Latella and from 2000 on that of the De Stefano.
