Twenty people were killed today when a boat capsized in a river in the central Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Indian media quoted the emergency services as saying, "The accident occurred when a boat carrying a large number of people capsized in the Yamuna River in the state," noting that the number of casualties is likely to rise.
And the emergency services indicated that rescue operations were still going on at the site of the accident.
