A truck driver was killed today (Thursday) in a car accident between two trucks in Holon.
MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to Wolfson Hospital in a critical condition with multi-system damage while performing CPR. After initial treatment, he was determined to be in the hospital.
Emergency medicine medic at MD, Dana Kaplan, said: "The injured was trapped under the truck when he was unconscious and suffering from a very severe multi-system injury.
With the help of special equipment, we rescued him and started medical treatment, we performed massages and evacuated him in an intensive care vehicle to the hospital while continuing resuscitation operations when his condition is critical."
Police officers and traffic inspectors arrived at the place where the serious accident occurred, Toham are collecting findings and investigating the circumstances of the accident.
