Allegations of a violent raid in Binyamin: "They broke into our bedroom, threatened us with arrest" | Israel today

Hundreds of police officers and civil administration inspectors swarmed Ramat Magron in Binyamin, destroying the homes of three families and the synagogue there • Residents of the hill complain of violent and severe destruction: "They kidnapped and confiscated our cell phones from our hands for no reason, threw us and the baby out into the cold."


Destruction in the Ishon Lil settlement: large forces of the police and civil administration raided in Ishon Lil on Ramat Magron in Binyamin and according to the residents destroyed the houses of the three families of the hill, in addition to a synagogue, a boys' building and a goat pen.

According to the locals, the forces broke into the houses and confiscated the cell phones of the families without any reason or any order.

One of the family owners who demanded to get the cell phone back, was threatened with arrest and even warned: "One wrong move on your part, you will find yourself folded on the floor on the way to arrest.

According to local residents, other boys who live in the hill were beaten by the police, and one of them was injured in the face and needed medical treatment in the field.

The synagogue is also evacuated: Ramat Magron after the evacuation,

Noa Yared, a resident of the hill, told about the ordeal she went through: "We woke up at 4 o'clock in the morning to wild knocking on the door. Even before we could find out who it was, dozens of policemen broke into the house, entered the bedroom and informed us that we had to leave the place immediately. Even get dressed and get organized in privacy They didn't let us, after 3 minutes they threw us out of the house together with the baby, without allowing us to take clothes or other things for her on the grounds that 'only valuable things are allowed to be taken. In addition, they forcibly chained my husband to the car, and destroyed the house to pieces with some of our equipment inside ".

Ramat Magron said in response to the destruction: "This is a difficult and sad morning for the State of Israel. Once again the government is being cruel to the Jewish settlement, while throughout Judea and Samaria the Arab Fayad plan to establish a Palestinian state is going on undisturbed. But we have something to tell you, ministers of the government: we do not intend for even a moment to despair and throw up our hands, and we intend to continue to hold on to the hill until it becomes an established and flourishing permanent settlement."
