An Israeli-Iranian citizen, accused of spying for the Revolutionary Guards in Iran, tried to end her life today (Thursday) in her home in Holon - her condition is critical.
Medical teams that were called to her home located her after she swallowed pills, and evacuated her to the hospital in critical condition.
According to the indictment filed against her and her partner, the Iranian spy "Rambod" contacted her through Facebook, then introduced himself as a wealthy Muslim bachelor from Tehran, interested in the Jewish religion and interested in immigrating to Israel.
Throughout their relationship, Rambaud imposed fasting tasks on the accused and asked for information.
Despite the accused's knowledge that Rambod was acting on behalf of the Iranian authorities and its intelligence agencies, she sent him items of information, photos and videos in accordance with his requests.
In return, she received information from him about what was happening in Iran, with the aim of broadcasting it to the audience on the media channels in which she and her husband broadcast.

Rani Amarni, director of Radio Ran in Farsi, who knew the accused from Holon, told of her that she was "active for the community, helping a lot of Iranians in need outside of Iran."
According to him, Rambaud identified himself to her as a Jew and started their conversation in Hebrew to mislead her.
"He told her that he was going to a synagogue in Tehran, that we know each other very well. I don't know what exactly happened between him and her, but I believe that most of the women who were arrested are innocent who were in family crises and he took advantage of them emotionally and maybe financially."
He said that she was in a difficult financial situation.
"It's possible that they tried to help her. I believe that even if she did something, she did it innocently or didn't know who she was sending the information to. I find it hard to believe that the suspects did it on purpose."
