Money is looked at in Miesbach, as the recent city council meeting showed.
The manager of the depot, Jürgen Fischer, wanted to buy three vehicles and a snow blower, but only three of them were approved.
The purchase of two all-wheel-drive vans, which are much cheaper than trucks when it comes to maintenance and repairs, went smoothly.
Residual value according to appraisal: around 90,000 euros.
The reason for the change is also the drivability for the building yard employees.
Not everyone has a truck driver's license, Fischer explained.
The allocation is currently complex - sometimes associated with rearranging the loading.
Depending on the selection, the total costs for both vans together amount to a maximum of 120,000 euros.

Council members unanimously agreed.
"The depot manager is the best judge of the fleet," said Erhard Pohl (CSU).
The municipal council also approved the purchase of a medium-sized snow blower for 43,000 euros against the vote of Michael Lechner (FWG).
He found that this work could also be outsourced.

The leasing of a new tractor was rejected.
The leasing contract for the current vehicle expired in 2021;
the tractor was detached.
Because of the increasing need for repairs caused by the dust when using road salt, Fischer suggested selling the old tractor and leasing a new one.
Alois Fuchs (CSU) contradicted this: "Now that it has been paid off, the machine is profitable." In contrast to leasing costs, the repairs are manageable.
An argument that the city council joined with four dissenting votes.
