Accordingly, “particularly people with a weakened immune system and people over 70 years of age should definitely take advantage of the opportunity to have boosters for the second time”.

For this group of people, as the Stiko writes and this is also how it is seen in the district office, “a second booster is definitely advisable in order to get through the summer well protected.

District office follows the Stiko recommendations

However, nobody should be deterred by the Stiko recommendation - especially not younger district citizens - from taking advantage of the vaccination offers of BRK or Johanniter.

“There is always a doctor on site who can advise,” says Török.

Coming to the BRK house or the vaccination bus does not mean that you have to be vaccinated immediately.
