Cuba managed to control the fires that broke out in oil tanks in the city of Matanzas, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of citizens.
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, during a visit to the scene of the fire, praised the efforts made by the Cuban fire brigade, with the support of specialized teams from Venezuela and Mexico.
In a statement to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Syria expressed its sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the Republic of Cuba and its people and to the families of the victims of the fires, and its full support for this disaster and its support for all efforts made by the Cuban government to reduce the losses caused by these fires.
One person was killed and 121 others were injured after large fires broke out in oil depots in the city of Matanzas, Cuba, last Friday, after a thunderbolt.
