(CNN Spanish) --

More than a year has passed since actor Armie Hammer was in the eye of the hurricane after being accused of assault and sexual violence.

This Wednesday, Discovery + released the official trailer for "House of Hammer", a documentary series in which ex-partners of the disgraced actor describe in detail their encounters with him and share messages that he would have sent them through Instagram.

Armie Hammer's misadventures are just the tip of the iceberg of the alleged problems faced by various generations of his family, says Discovery+ in the production description.

Like CNN, Discovery+ is part of Warner Bros. Discovery.

The documentary features interviews with whistleblowers and family members, including her aunt Casey Hammer, who at the end of the trailer says she's going to reveal the "darkest, most twisted secrets" of the Hammer family.

CNN has reached out to Hammer's legal representative for comment regarding the trailer, but so far we have not received a response.

What does the trailer for "House of Hammer" show?

In the advance, almost four minutes long, Courtney Vucekovich and Julia Morrison show messages that the actor supposedly sent them through Instagram about, they say in the documentary, fantasies that he had with them.

The production reproduces an audio supposedly of the actor in which he tells one of those fantasies.

The trailer ends with Hammer's aunt talking about her family.

This is not the first time the production has been known.

In 2021, the Deadline website reported that Casey Hammer had partnered with Talos Films to put together the documentary series.

Armie Hammer is the great-great-grandson of Armand Hammer, the American tycoon whose name was associated with Occidental Petroleum for decades.

The investigation against Armie Hammer

In March 2021 it was revealed that Armie Hammer was under police investigation in Los Angeles after a woman reported that in 2017 he had violently raped her for several hours.

The woman, identified only as Effie, said that at the time she thought she was going to die.

Hammer's then-lawyer refuted Effie's claims as "outrageous", saying that all of Hammer's interactions with her and other women "have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually involved".

Effie said she had an on-and-off romantic and intimate relationship with Hammer between 2016 and 2020, that she was 20 years old when she met him on Facebook, and that she fell in love with him "instantly."

CNN contacted the Attorney General's Office seeking details on the status of this case, but when asked if they had received the investigation from the Los Angeles Police Department, that office replied that it has no updates to report.

In January 2021, Hammer responded to accusations from ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze, stating in a statement that his extramarital sexual encounters were "entirely consensual in the sense that they were fully discussed, agreed upon, and mutually participatory."

Hammer and his ex-wife, the presenter Elizabeth Chambers, announced in July 2020 their separation after 10 years of relationship.

Hammer is known for his participation in tapes like "Call Me By Your Name" and "The Social Network".

"House of Hammer" is coming to Discovery+ on Friday, September 2.

CNN's Jessica Myers contributed to this report.
