At the intersection with St.-Martin-Strasse, an intoxicated 45-year-old overlooked a 60-year-old from the market town who was coming from the right and had the right of way.

On August 10th, 2022, around 8 p.m., there was a traffic accident in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

A 45-year-old from the Loisachtal drove his car along the Alpspitzstraße in the direction of Hausberg.

At the intersection with St.-Martin-Strasse, he overlooked a 60-year-old from the market town who was coming from the right and had the right of way.

There was a collision and the vehicle of the person who caused the accident was thrown into a waiting car that was just coming from the local mountain in the direction of Marienplatz.

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident.

There was property damage of over 30,000 euros, and the two damaged vehicles were totaled.

An alcohol test was positive for the person who caused the accident.

A blood test was ordered and the driver's license secured.

Among other things, it is determined for an offense of endangering road traffic.
