Green light for new energy agency - despite brief debate about the role of the SPD

The way is clear for founding an energy agency: the districts of Fürstenfeldbruck, Starnberg and Landsberg want to work together on the energy transition in the future.

- After long preliminary consultations, there was broad agreement in the district council on the founding of the agency.
The energy transition association Ziel 21 is now to be merged into the agency, whose task is primarily to raise awareness and provide advice.
Ziel-21 boss and FW district councilor Gottfried Obermair hopes for more clout in energy consulting, especially for companies and municipalities.

Because there was a demand for the smaller groups in the district council to be given equal consideration when forming the supervisory board and not according to the electoral process, a brief debate ensued.
However, the vast majority stuck to the view that the will of the voters must also be reflected in the majority on the supervisory board.
The energy agency will also have an advisory board, ideally made up of experts.
There were minor hackles on the question of what role the SPD played in the decision-making process.
She had submitted an application per energy agency while this was already being worked on in the background, as was repeatedly assured.
Then, surprisingly, the SPD reacted negatively towards the agency, only to agree in the end after a number of discussions, albeit with warning words.
SPD faction leader Christoph Maier, who brought this up himself, had to listen to a lot.
District Administrator Thomas Karmasin then joined Maier: Unfortunately, Karmasin thought that the district council was different from heaven.
There, people are more happy about someone who turns back than about 99 righteous people, although Maier didn't really feel comfortable in the circle of the righteous, but thanked him for the almost presidential-style intervention.
