At four o'clock in the morning, a pedestrian wanted to cross the lane of the BAB 6 at the level of a rest area.
He was hit by a car and fatally injured.
Schwabach – Early Thursday (August 11) there was a serious accident on the BAB 6 near the Kammersteiner Land rest area.
This was announced by the Central Franconia police in a press release.
One person died in the accident.

According to the current status of the investigation, the 36-year-old wanted to walk around 4 a.m. in the construction site area across the lane of the BAB 6 from the Kammersteiner Land North rest area to the Kammersteiner Land South rest area.
He was hit by a van that was traveling in the direction of Heilbronn.
The 36-year-old sustained fatal injuries, the van driver (28) was unharmed in the accident.

BAB 6/Schwabach: traffic delays after a serious accident
The Feucht traffic police recorded the accident, and an expert supported the officials in clarifying the exact cause of the accident.
As of 7 a.m., traffic was diverted past the accident via the Kammersteiner Land rest area.
