Two water storage reserves belonging to this organization were vandalized on the night of August 8 to 9 in Nalliers and Pouillé, two towns located in Vendée.
These "basins", which draw on groundwater, mainly in winter, irrigate crops in summer, when there is a shortage of water.
This department had never experienced such acts, unlike its neighbors in Deux-Sèvres and Charente-Maritime, where the basins arouse very strong opposition.
