Kochel – Next motorcycle accident on Kesselberg near Kochel: A 22-year-old fell into the undergrowth at noon.
After that, a defective bus remained on the B11.
The accident with the motorcyclist happened on Thursday (August 11) at noon on the B11 federal road on Kesselberg.
The 22-year-old man from the Traunstein area was driving his Suzuki from Kochel in the direction of Urfeld.
According to the police, shortly after the so-called show curve, he left the roadway to the right “due to the speed not being adjusted”.
The biker fell into the adjacent undergrowth. Driver and machine ultimately got stuck in the sloping terrain between the trees.
With serious injuries, but still conscious, he was transported to the accident clinic in Murnau after emergency medical treatment.
The Suzuki was a total loss, estimated by the police at 5,000 euros.
The section of road had been closed for the rescue and accident recording.
There were additional obstacles after the block was lifted because a technical defect had happened to an RVO bus that prevented it from continuing.
"But the driver was experienced enough to get his vehicle moving again himself," says the police - so that the bus was able to continue after almost an hour.
