The renowned Mexican actor Manuel Ojeda passed away, according to a tweet from the National Association of Actors (ANDA), of which the artist was a member.
“Our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
Rest in peace,” ANDA wrote on its Twitter account.
Televisa, the Mexican medium where he worked, lamented the death.
"His career in theater, film and television leaves an indelible mark," the television house wrote on its social networks.
The Ministry of Culture of Mexico also transmitted its condolences on the networks for the death of Ojeda.
The actor was known for his participation in the films "The lost emerald", "The Hell of all so feared", "Pedro Páramo, The man of the half moon" and other projects during his long career.
He was 81 years old.
CNN has tried to contact ANDA and Televisa, so far without success, to obtain details about the author's death.
