A woman was attacked with a knife in an immigration office in Wuppertal on Thursday.
She was seriously injured.
The police arrested a suspect.
Wuppertal – In Wuppertal (NRW), a woman was attacked with a knife and seriously injured in the immigration office.
Police arrested a suspect at the scene.
Initially, the emergency services assumed a threat on Thursday morning (August 11), as a police spokesman explains.
However, the situation is under control, reports 24RHEIN.

The woman was seriously injured in the attack.
According to the police, there is no danger to life.
She was taken to a hospital by paramedics.
According to initial findings, the perpetrator is said to have used a knife.
He is said to have stormed into the immigration office in the Elberfeld district around 9 a.m. and immediately stabbed a woman at the reception desk, reports the
Bild
newspaper.
Then the perpetrator was initially overpowered by the security service before the emergency services arrested him.
So far, the police have not wanted to comment on whether the woman is an employee of the authority.
